Local Artists Showcase and Sell Work at Library (photos)

With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas in front of us, many of us are spending spare moments shopping for gifts for loved ones. Manchester has a new shopping destination this year for one-of-a-kind works of art, the Manchester District Library. For the next few weeks the library will be showcasing art by prominent local artists including Maureen Salazar, David Nelson, Margaret Shaw, Aaron Bushaw, Nancy Feldkamp and Dee Miles... and everything is for sale. Art on display includes note cards, jewelry, paintings, pottery, collages and sculptures. Prices range from $4 to $750 so there is something there for everyone. Best of all, the artists are all donating a percentage of the sale to the library!
