The Student of the month for February is Rachael Beagle. She is currently a senior at Manchester High School and the daughter of Jim and Deb Beagle of Manchester.

During her high school career here at Manchester, Rachael has been in the Drama Club, National Honor Society and Student Council. As a junior she was a member of the Key Club and she is serving as a mentor to the freshman class. Rachael lived in South Africa for her freshman year, where she was active in a sport called Netball. She has been involved with Kids Against Hunger and selling cider to raise funds for Kiwanis.

Rachael has a cumulative GPA of 4.240. After high school she plans to study Child Development at either Michigan State University or The University of Toledo.

Manchester Civic Club, in collaboration with the faculty and administration of Manchester High School, selects the Student of the Month from applicants based on academic achievement, leadership/participation in extra-curricular activities, and all around service to the school and community.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
