St. Mary Ice Cream Social Coming July 28th!

The St. Mary Ice Cream Social is one of Manchester's eagerly awaited summer events. Held Thursday, July 28, 5-8:00 pm on the “Village Green,” at 210 West Main Street, right across from the Gazebo (make it a “double-feature” with the Gazebo concert that night!) FREE cake and Schwan’s ice cream will be served to all guests. Everyone is welcome!

Since 1892, St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester has hosted this annual event, and each year it is a delight of food, fun, friendly visiting and conversation among friends and neighbors. The lawn in front of St. Mary’s is filled with festive tents, and it bustles with friendly hosts – the young and the not-so- young parishioners of St. Mary’s – who serve up a scrumptious assortment of traditional Ice Cream Social fare.

This year's delicious menu includes pulled pork, hot dogs, kielbasa, sauerkraut, homemade mac & cheese, cole slaw, German potato salad, cold potato salad, fresh cut veggies, watermelon, cakes, pies, and ice cream – all prepared and cooked by top notch parish cooks! Take home some of the homemade baked and canned goods, crafts, and fresh produce from the Country Store. There also will be raffle drawings and a fun Foto Booth.

The people of the parish invite all their friends and neighbors from throughout the area to join them!
