The Summer Reading Program may be over, but the long, hot days of summer linger on. If you need a quick, easy read to keep you company by (or in) the pool or lake, stop by the Manchester District Library located at 912 City Road and take advantage of their honor system paperback book exchange.

Take your pick of any of the books on their two shelves of paperbacks available for the exchange. When finished, you can keep it, bring it back, or bring another book to leave as part of the exchange. The benefit of this system is that you don’t have to worry about due dates (easy to do when vacation-bound) or fines for damages should your reading material take an unexpected dip in the water!

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
