Caitlyn Baskins named September Student of the Month

The Student of the Month for September is Caitlyn Baskins.  The daughter of Robert and Nora Baskins of Manchester, she is currently is a senior at Manchester High School.

During her high school career here in Manchester, Caitlyn has been involved with the Manchester High School Key Club, where she serves as President. She is also a member and co-President of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, and she is currently the Treasurer of the German Club. Caitlyn has been a Member of the High School Marching and Concert Band along with being a member of the University of Michigan Youth Symphonic Band.

In addition to her high school activities, Caitlyn has assisted with many Kiwanis Club events and has supported with Salvation Army with holiday bell ringing. She is also an Ambassador Girl Scout in Manchester Girl Scout Troop #41545 and an Honor Guard Scout in the Mackinac Island Governors Honor Guard Troop #609.

After high school she plans to pursue a college degree.
