Do you have a bridesmaid dress hanging in the back of your closet? Are you storing your daughter's prom dresses even though she wears a different size now and lives two states away? Here is a reason to pull those dresses out of your closet!

The Manchester Ladies Society will be holding their fourth annual “Free Prom Dress Boutique” in mid-March. Once again, girls will be able to come browse, try-on, and leave with a dress for free. As in previous years, all of the dresses in the shop will be dresses that have been donated and the Ladies Society is in need of dresses to restock.

If you have a clean formal dress you would like to donate, bring it to the front desk of the Manchester District Library during regular operating hours. The library accepts dress donations year-round. In addition to dresses, the Ladies Society accepts dress shoes, wraps and jewelry. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive a receipt they can save for tax purposes.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
