More than 20 walkers and bikers met at Wurster Park to start off their day with invigorating exercise!

Last Wednesday, May 11, was National Bike to School Day. Riders rivaled the number of walkers at Wurster Park and Chi-Bro, and many more Klager kids got off the buses at the high school to join teacher Kathy O'Mara for a walk to school.

A total of 189 participants set a new record for the event, as the previous record stood at 118.

Prizes were offered to all participants along with the weekly feet marking each time the kids walk to school with their friends.

Congratulations to all the parents, staff, deputies, and students who helped make this day a success, and who started off their day with some very healthy activity! Everyone wins with Walk to School Wednesday

They were met by many more kids, teachers, and parents at Chi-Bro Park.

A Sheriff's Deputy joined the group on his bike to help celebrate National Bike to School Day last Wednesday.
