The 2017 Manchester Independence Day fireworks were successfully executed last Monday night. Carr Park, Wurster Park, Kirk Park, Oak Grove cemetery, and parking lots and yards throughout the village were packed with residents and those who drove in from neighboring cities and counties to watch the fireworks paid for by the Manchester Men's Club.
