The Historical Society's silent auction in the Kingsley Center House Saturday morning raised $1,545.

At one point during the morning there was a one-hour wait to see the antiques appraiser at the Kingsley-Center House.

Street Festival vendors lined Main Street, including the American Legion Auxiliary with a raffle for a beautiful stained glass work of art and a fire pit full of summer supplies!

Street festival organizer Amelia Woods would like to thank Karl and Pat Racines for sharing their Mill with the Festival and Mike Austin for providing two separate circuits on the fly and making the Olympic Slide happen.

Shelby Chartrand organized the Kids Korner, with the popular game "Beardo" which involved putting on fake beards and putting things in the beards. It was much played and enjoyed!

Mens Club Car Show winners included: Best 1980 or newer was Brad Kendall from Manchester with his 2014 Camaro 1 LE, Best stock was a 68 Pontiac Bonneville, Best Modified was a 65 Pontiac GTO.

The Manchester Mens Club had 119 cars attend the car show. The Mens Club also gave away free root beer!

Best of Show of the Manchester Mens Club Car Show was Manchester's George Wacker with his vintage Standard Oil truck.

John Schiel, who is one of the organizers of the huge Mackinaw Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing every year organized an antique tractor show for the Sesquicentennial on Saturday.

Antique tractors lined Washington Street.

Susan DeSautel was the winner of the Rubber Duck Race. Run by the co-op Preschool this year, organizer sold out of ducks early!

Kids participated in a kids beard contest and could either make a beard at home to bring, like this boy did, or make on at the contest from provided craft supplies.

Re-inactors wandered the streets in celebration of 150 years on incorporation.

Saturday afternoon, seven team participated in the bed races. Dairy Queen won first place, Amcor's team came in 2nd.

Also competing were Team Distance, SWAT (Sarah Andrews's Ragnar team), Andrews Family Chiropractic, Manchester Lady Dutch Volleyball, and a group of bikers from out of town that heard about the contest at the Tap and decided to join in the fun!!

The Western Washtenaw Historic Baseball World Series was held on Saturday afternoon in Kirk. The game was back and forth, but The Chelsea Monitors (in blue, yellow & white) prevailed over the Manchester Handlers (in plaid and denim) with a score of Chelsea 7 - Manchester 5.

The Main Street Dinner feed more than 300 and was prepared by Stockwell's, Village Tap, Over the Edge, Linda's Diner, Frank's Place, Hungry Wolf and Dairy Queen, with table arrangements by Flower Garden.

Pete and Jennifer Nashif opened up their 1835 home to a tour group on Sunday Afternoon.

The docent-led tour of historic homes on Sunday afternoon was packed with people. This home built in 1835 is believed to be the second oldest in the Village.
