Downtown businesses extend hours on Thursdays, bring in new retail & food options for shoppers

It's not too early to start your holiday shopping, and now you can do it right here in downtown Manchester on Thursday evenings!

Starting October 19th, downtown merchants will be staying open until 8 pm every Thursday! Businesses that have confirmed that they will be extending their hours and/or offering special Thursday evening deals include Frank's Place, Frank's in the Morning offering baked goods, SteeleGrafix, The Dandy Lion, River Raisin Antiques, Flower Garden, Maisano's Massage, Over the Edge/Ollies will be offering $1 coney dogs, Village Tap, Unforgettable Photos, Manchester Pharmacy (until 7 pm), Dairy Queen (until they close for the season), Village Hair Forum, Proper Property Services, Tres Beau Salon, and State Farm Insurance, and ... Kellie's for Dinner! Kellie's, which usually closes for the day after lunch, will be opening on Thursdays from 4 to 8 pm with two hot specials and a limited menu of soups, sandwiches and salads.

In addition to those listed above, three pop-up shops will be opening Thursday evenings and running until 8 pm through December 14th. A pop-up coffee shop will be going into the vacant storefront located at 144 East Main and will offer coffee, hot chocolate, cider, baked goods, homemade dog treats and more. A pop-up shop will be going into 231 E. Main Street and will host a variety of home businesses on different weeks including Pampered Chef, Piphany Clothing, It Works, Stamping Up, Mary Kay, and Young Living Oils. A pop-up shop will be going into 114 Adrian St. and every week will feature five vendors selling LuLaRoe, Lipsense, Young Living Essential Oils, Goats milk soap, lotion, baked goods, 31 Bags, and candles; every other week will feature five vendors selling fabric crosses on wood, wreaths, crafts, crochet items, hats, scarves, aprons, desserts, and other baked goods; and once per month will feature three vendors selling kids' sleeping bags, dog hammocks for the car, American Girl doll clothes, canned goods, and Mannatech.
