2017 volunteer recognition banquet nominees announced

While often volunteering is its own reward, for the 30th year the Manchester Community Resource Center (CRC) will hold a Banquet where local organizations can recognize a volunteer from their organization for their volunteerism. Last week, the CRC released the list of this year’s volunteers and the organizations that have nominated them for recognition:

The Volunteer Recognition Banquet will be held  on Saturday, November 4, beginning at 6:15 pm at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Dining Room. In addition to the presentation of the awards, attendees will be  treated to appetizers, an open bar, and dinner. This year, previous Claire Reck winners have been invited. Those present will be able will be able to bid in both a silent auction and a short live auction to raise money for the CRC. Auction items this year include more than fifty packages and baskets including three overnight getaways, numerous tickets to sporting events, concerts & shows, museums passes, zoo memberships, restaurant gift certificates, locally crafted goods, works of art and much more! Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased by calling the CRC at (734) 428-7722.
