Ann Arbor News:

High winds that blew storms through southeast Michigan Thursday night for Halloween downed trees and caused scattered power outages.

About 1,400 DTE Energy customers were without power as of 10 a.m. Friday morning, said company spokesman Alejandro Bodipo-Memba.
