Updated: Winter Storm Coming This Saturday Afternoon
There is a major storm coming into the area this Saturday, 1/4.
Temperatures will stay low and a wet, low-pressure front will reach us on Saturday. That front will add warmth and water to very cold air. Temperatures will get into the 20s Saturday and Sunday as a result. The other result will be a heavy storm.
Snowfall in Washtenaw County will be in the range of 10 inches. Driving will be very hazardous. If you only take away one thing from this post it’s this: Get off the roads by Saturday afternoon.
Starting Sunday, temperatures will be back in the single digits and wind chill will be well below zero.
Frostbite and hypothermia are real concerns. Limit your time outside.
