Kindergarten Registration Celebration Coming Up on March 18, 2014

The Manchester Community School District is pleased to announce that planning for the 2014-2015 kindergarten program is now underway. Families of children who will be five years old on or before October 1, 2014, are encouraged to attend a registration celebration on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This meeting is for families who live in the Manchester Community School District, or any families living in Washtenaw County or counties that border Washtenaw County who would like their children to attend the Manchester Schools as a school of choice. This event will take place in the Klager Elementary School Cafeteria, 405 Ann Arbor Street, Manchester, MI 48158.

At this family event, you may register your upcoming kindergarten student. You should be prepared to bring your child’s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. Principal Jennifer Mayes and teachers will be available to introduce parents and guardians to the kindergarten curriculum and discuss the “typical” kindergarten day. Special literature on school readiness will also be available. Additionally, building tours, bus rides, kindergarten classrooms, food service, Motor Moms and Dads, Klager Kids Klub and Klager PTO will be available to explore or answer any questions.

For your convenience, registration packets are available for pick up beginning on March 10, 2014 at the Klager School Office during normal school hours, 7:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. For additional information contact Klager School at 734-428-8321.
