Quilt of Ed Armbruster. This quilt is over 100 years old. Do you have something historical like this? Bring it to Show and Tell Night!

Thursday, February 13th at 7:30 p.m. at the Sharon United Methodist Church Hall, the Manchester Area Historical Society will hold Show and Tell Night. The evening will be hosted by Society member Jim Wilson. Residents are encouraged to bring old tools, quilts, photos, awards, clothing, etc. Items that are at least 75 or 100 years old are preferred but all historical items are welcome.

Society member Sharon Curtis noted: “There are almost always a few “What Is This” items, for which we rarely stump Howard Parr.”

When asked what she would be bringing, Curtis replied: “I have no idea what I will take, but I’m sure I’ll find something in this mess that surrounds me.”

You should do the same! If you seek an historical mess, Manchester, look about you! Bring what you find this thursday, and see if you can stump Mr. Parr.
