The District Festival will be hosted at Manchester High School on March 13th, 14th and 15th.  The Manchester 7th and 8th Grade Band and the Manchester High School Concert Band will perform three selections for the festival, as well as give the audience a chance to watch the sight reading process.  Mr. Ed Schoendorff and Mr. William Murray (band director at Clinton) will be attending and giving the students a review of their performance.

Beginning on Thursday, March 13th, MHS will be hosting MSBOA District 8 Band and Orchestra Festival.  This event will take place on Thursday the 13th, Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th. The MS Band will be performing at 3:30PM on Thursday and our HS Band will perform on Friday at 9:40PM. In addition to our two ensembles, there will be 37 other MS and HS Bands and Orchestras. On Friday, March 14th, from 4-8PM and Saturday, March 15th, from 10-2PM, O'Hara Chrysler will be on hand to help raise funds for our music program by having any driver over the age of 18 come and test drive one of their fine Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. They have pledged $5 for every eligible driver that comes and does a test drive right at Manchester High School. You may recall that our athletic department did a similar fundraiser in the fall. The goal is to get as many drivers as possible to come and help the music program by taking a test drive.

On Tuesday March 11th, there will be a HS Choral and HS Jazz Concert  starting at 7:00PM.
