The Klager PTO and the Manchester Wellness Coalition will be presenting Math and Science Night at Klager Elementary, this Friday at 6pm.

Each classroom will be a “laboratory” hosting science demonstration and hands-on activities.  What makes a good paper airplane?  What kind of genes does a strawberry have?  How do you know if you have a concussion?  Get more good questions, and the answers, at Math and Science Night.  You can even learn to fix your bike.

Students and their families can also get information on joining Klager’s new Science Olympiad team.  Science Olympiad is a K-12 science competition.  Team members take part in events that deal with maps, building, chemistry, biology, geology, and more.

At the elementary school level the emphasis is on fun and getting the kids interested in both the science and the activity.

Parents who have children interested in Science Olympiad should contact coach Lynn Miller, mathscience48158@gmail.com.
