Beckie Brewis, First Steps certified early childhood education specialist. When asked about the night Brewis responded “I was so amazed by the great turnout! It seemed that there were folks from across the community–not just our First Steps families, with their friends and families. We believe we served over 200 meals. At times we worried that we wouldn’t have places for attendees to sit! I so appreciate the hard work of the planning committee and our volunteers. It was obvious in the success of the night. I also wish to thank the Cultural Art Strings for performing while we closed out the auction. I thought it was great addition to the night.”
