Pure Manchester!
An “emergency” clean-up project was initiated this weekend to give a fresh and clean look to the seating area on the corner of M-52 and Main Street. This entrance to the downtown area needed some TLC and weeding, especially as representatives from the Pure Michigan travel group are expected to travel to Manchester this week seeking to photograph areas that may be featured in a future Pure Michigan ad. Thanks to the dedicated community members who were able to take a couple hours out of an incredibly busy weekend to help with this project.
Village Council member Cindy Dresch and Kiwanian Patti McCabe dig in to get the job done!
Village Council President Pat Vailliencourt concentrates on an area that needed serious weeding.

Dwayne Vailliencourt, Arianne Chartrand, Chase, Chartrand, and Peyton Chartrand get into clean-up mode.
When all was said and done, many large bags of weeds were ready for pickup and removal. New mulch and some annuals will be placed in the seating area to make it look attractive for our special guests and all summer long.
