OTHER INFORMATION FROM THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind and encourage residents to call 911 whenever they think something is out of the ordinary and a concern. We often find that people are reluctant to call because they aren’t certain what they’ve observed is actually a problem or even a crime. The Sheriff’s Office recognizes that nobody knows a neighborhood better than its residents and as a result views residents as our best-informed partners in the early detection of trouble.
Holidays and summer activities are in full swing. This includes the use of a wide variety of powered equipment. Please remember that any vehicle operated on a public roadway must be registered with the Michigan Secretary of State or fit into the use category of an “implement of husbandry” in temporary transport on the roadway for farm use. Please drive safely.
