5:30am River Raisin Watershed Council 2014 Fall Meeting

Where: Hidden Lake Gardens, 6214 Monroe Rd (M-50) Tipton, MI
Description: Refreshments and a silent auction (many items donated by Manchester businesses) will be held at 5:30 PM, and the official program will begin at 6:30 PM. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.Visit riverraisin.org for more info.

 

9am Flu Shot Clinic

Where: Emanuel Church, Manchester, MI
Description: $30 without insurance

 

3:30pm Fat, salt & sugar: where are they hiding?

Where: Village Room
Description: After School Snacks! Teens are welcome to attend this program presented by MSU Extension Program Instructor, Mary Donaldson. Find out how much fat, salt, and sugar hide in our favorite snacks. Help prepare and enjoy a healthy snack during this program.

10am Preschool Story Time

Where: Manchester District Library
Description: Join Ms. Karen for entertaining stories, crafts, and songs about canoes.

 

3:30pm LEGO Club

Where: Manchester District Library
Description: Like Legos? You’ll love this group! Build something fantastic with the library’s big LEGO collection, and we’ll display your creation untilthe following Wednesday. All ages, no charge, no registration required. A caregiver must remain in the building for ages 10 and under. 

 

3:30pm Manchester Schools Community Forum

Where: Board Room, Ackerson Building, 410 City Road, Manchester, MI
Description: First forum with updates from district leadership. Are you curious about the district goals, initiatives, curriculum, technology integration, and student/teacher learning? All stakeholders are welcome and encouraged to check it out.

6:30pm Alcohol Anonymous meeting

Where: Manchester District Library
Description: Bring your knitting, embroidery, crochet, quilting… all sorts of crafters at any skill level welcome! Experienced knitters are available to answer questions or give advice.
