Mon Oct 13, 2014 –  Columbus Day

(All day) Teen Read Week

Where: Manchester District Library
Description: Teens, come to library and have your picture taken with a favorite book. A collection of these pictures will be on display in the Teen Spot.

Noon Chamber of Commerce Meeting

Where: The Village Office on 912 City Road (Lower Level)

4pm Make & Take Pumpkins

Where: Manchester District Library
Description: Get creative with pumpkins! Ms. Karen has a great make & take craft for everyone today. Come try your hand at seasonal decorating with pumpkins and melted crayons. It’s sure to be colorful.

7pm Library Board of Trustees Meeting

Where: Manchester District Library

6:30pm Weight Loss: myth vs. truth

Where: Village Room Calendar: Manchester District Library
 Description: This adult program is presented by Mary Donaldson, MSU Extension Program Instructor. Have you read or watched something about healthy eating and feel more confused than when you started? Learn a few tips from Mary that make it easier to eat healthy.

7pm AA Meeting

Where: Church Library, Manchester United Methodist Church, 501 Ann Arbor St., Manchester, MI 

7:30pm Manchester Township Board Meeting

Where: Manchester Township Hall Board Room

10am School Delayed Start

3:30pm Special LEGO Club with LB Hilbert

Where: Manchester District Library
Description: LB Hilbert, the builder of the awesome models currently on display, will be at this LEGO playtime. Come meet LB and find out what he loves about LEGOs. All ages, no charge, no registration required. A caregiver must remain in the building for ages 10 and under.

5:30pm CRC Board Meeting

Where: Ackerson conference room 

6:30pm Alcohol Anonymous meeting

Where: Sharon United Methodist Church – Fellowship Hall – M52 & Pleasant Lake

6:30pm In Stitches

Where: Manchester District Library
 Description: Bring your knitting, embroidery, crochet, quilting… all sorts of crafters at any skill level welcome! Experienced knitters are available to answer questions or give advice.

1pm Manchester Ladies Society Mtg

Where: Village Room (under the library) 912 City Road, Manchester MI
Description: Manchester Ladies Society’s mission is to support the women and children of Manchester by supporting existing charities and organizations, connecting women with community resources and creating new ones where gaps exist. Meetings always includes good munchies and good company. All women are welcome!
