Beginning the first week of November the Manchester Wellness Center will offer three classes at the Manchester Wellness Center open to the community. This is a great opportunity for non-members to take a Zumba, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and/or  Zumba Gold class. Classes will run for 6 weeks and cost $42 per session.

Zumba will meet Wednesdays, 11/5-12/10 from 6-7pm. The instructor, Julie Moon, has been a teacher at Emerson School in Ann Arbor for years, specializing in music and theatre. Zumba is one of her passions and before becoming a certified instructor, she realized her love for the fitness craze and saw how much fun people could have while working out and breaking a sweat!

Vinyasa Flow Yoga will meet Thursdays, 11/6-12/11 from 6:30-7:30pm. This class will be taught by Mindy Nagy, a 200-hour certified Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. While Nagy enjoys teaching and practicing Power Ashtanga classes, she specializes in teaching to a variety of needs and abilities and modifying classes to accommodate a spectrum of attendees.

The third class, Zumba Gold, will meet on Fridays, 11/7-12/12 from 9-10am. Zumba Gold’s instructor will be Sally Shock, a certified Zumba, Zumba Gold, and Aqua Zumba instructor and dance instructor who has been in the industry for several years. Her classes are high-energy, welcoming, and always delivered with a smile.

If you are interested in enrolling or have questions call the Wellness Center at 428-0850, stop in anytime during business hours, or email Sharon Fitzsimmons at sfitzsimmons@powerwellness.com.
