An integral part of Bethel Church's mission statement is to reach beyond their church walls and impact and enrich communities both near and far. This event is a fundraiser to support their local and national mission projects. A few of their local mission projects include preparing and serving dinner at Alpha House - a family homeless shelter in Ann Arbor - on a regular schedule, "Hearts and Hands" - providing health and wellness education as well as spiritual comfort to elderly, and sewing and quilting "comfort quilts" for children at Motts Children Hospital, patients at the U of M Cancer Center and Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, and church and community members who could use care and comfort. Visit their website for a more complete list.
