Austin Road Closed Heading Towards Saline – March 2 through late August

The Washtenaw County Road Commission is closing Austin Road between Grass Road and Schill Road in Saline Township for two bridge replacements. This closure will last from March 2 through late August. This will affect traffic travelling directly between Manchester and Saline.

The bridge replacements are on Austin Road over the Saline River, and also Austin Road over the Bauer Drain. Both are located about 2 ½ miles west of Saline. Austin Road will be closed in this area throughout this construction. The “posted detour route” will utilize Clinton Road and US-12 to navigate between Manchester and Saline.
