The day before Easter–this coming Saturday, April 4th–is a busy one for Easter events around Manchester.

Starting the day off, the Women of Emanuel will be holding their annual Easter Egg, Coffee Cake & Candy Sale at Sutton Insurance Agency on Main Street from 9 am to noon.

The Manchester Sportsman Club will be holding their third Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny fundraiser from 10 am to 12 noon at the Sportsman Club hall located at 8501 Grossman Rd. Bring your camera; the Easter Bunny will be there from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Breakfast includes all-you-can-eat pancakes prepared by King Pancake Company from Belleville. Costs are $5 for ages 10 and up, $3 for ages 3-9 and free for ages 3 and under. For $2, you can add sausage and fruit. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult.

The Manchester Men’s Club will be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt in Carr Park starting promptly at 1 pm. This free event is for elementary aged children and younger. They will find real dyed Easter Eggs and be able to meet the Easter Bunny.

Also starting at 1 pm, Sharon United Methodist Church will be playing the movie “Hop” and holding an Easter Egg Hunt in the Fellowship Hall. This event is sponsored by the Sharon United Methodist Church Youth Group.
