Where: Manchester Township Board Meeting, Manchester Township Hall, 275 MacombStreet, Manchester

Description: Open to the public (regardless of the township you reside in.) The presentation will be 30 to 40 minutes, followed by a question and answer period. John Griffin, Executive Director of the Associated Petroleum Industries of Michigan, and Adam Wygant, Section Chief, Permitting & Technical Services Section at the MDEQ Office of Oil, Gas,and Minerals, will be the speakers.

Description: Serving begins at 4:30 p.m. Drive Through meals will be $9.00, while Eat-In meals will be $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 3 to12.

5:30pm Manchester Voices Youth and Adult Coalition Meeting

Where: Library of Manchester High School, Dutch Drive, Manchester, MI, UnitedStates

Description: Visit this website for previous meetings minutes. ManchesterVoices is a community coalition that helps youth make healthy choices and encourages members of our community of all ages to plan and participate in drug and alcohol free activities. In so doing, members promote personal and community health and wellness. Additionally, Manchester Voices strives to change community norms and policies that enable underage drinking and over the counter medication abuse and misuse. 5pm May Fun Night at the Middle School

Where: Manchester Middle School, 710 East Main Street, Manchester, MI 48158,United States

Description: Current 4th grade students are invited to join May Fun Night at the Middle School, to have some fun and to get a peek at the school. TheMiddle School PTSA (Parent-Teacher-Student Association) is sponsoringthe event, which is open to current 4th and 5th graders. (No siblings).Activities will include dodge ball, crafts, and music. Concessions will also be available (pizza, popcorn, candy, drinks). Food prices rangefrom $.25 – $1.00. Parents are welcome to attend if background checkhas been completed and approved or you can drop off and pick up at theend of the event. 4pm “Brothers, Sing On!” The Ann Arbor Boychoir

Where: Manchester United Methodist Church, 501 Ann Arbor Street, Manchester,MI 48158

Description: The Performing Choir (ages 9-18) of this popular, well-trained local chorus presents a program of choral music representing several styles and eras, including the 16th century Tudor anthem “Rejoice in the Lordalways,” 2 John Rutter spirituals, a Stephen Foster medley, Rollo Dilworth’s setting of the Duoluo (Kenyan) text “Dound Akuru,”Grieg’s “Brother, Sing On!,” and Ola Gjeilo’s “The Ground,” which features accompaniment by Riverfolk’s Cultural Arts string students. Also performances by the Preparatory Choir (ages 7-11) and Young Men’s Ensemble (13-18). 4 p.m. Manchester United Methodist Church, 501 Ann Arbor St., Manchester. Free. 223-6876.
