MCSF to Host Family Trivia Night Nov. 7
Are you looking for a fun family evening with a little learning mixed in?
The Manchester Community Schools Foundation (MCSF) is ready to help, as they announce their first Family Trivia Night on Saturday, Nov. 7. This event promises fun for all ages, with questions for varied age groups and interests!
Trivia questions, submitted by our own Manchester students, will be fielded by teams of up to eight people. Bragging rights will go to the family group who answers the most questions–quickly and correctly! Fun, games, prizes, and even food will be available for everyone who attends.
The Family Trivia Night event doors will open at the Freedom Township Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. Trivia begins at 4 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, for up to four people. Additional family members are just $5 each. The maximum team size is eight.
Concessions will be available and will include pizza by the slice, nachos, candy, beverages, dessert bars, and more. If you are in a Family Meal Deal to receive a $20 cheese or pepperoni pizza along with four beverages and four desserts, contact manchestertrivia@gmail.com to make your reservation. You can also reserve your spot at the table at the same time!
The MCSF uses funds raised at its events to provide mini-grants to individual teachers in grades K-12 for special projects, technology and software to enhance the classroom lessons, and funding specialty programs not in the curriculum. The goal of the foundation is not to replace or supplement normal district funding, but provide funding for special projects beyond the resources of the district.
The purpose of the Manchester Community Schools Foundation is to enhance the educational opportunities for students in grades K through 12. The goal is to provide an organization for tax deductible donations and planned gifts or a pass through to the school community.
With your support, we can continue to help the students of Manchester reach for the stars!
