Since the beginning of the Community Garden located on the bus access road that runs behind Klager Elementary School, organizers have struggled with the damage weather causes to tools and the lawnmower that sit outside all summer long in all sorts of weather. While there was money available to build a shed, the labor involved was preventing the actual construction. Boy Scouts came to the rescue when earlier this month, thirteen scouts built the shed in 6 hrs.

Scouts working on the shed include Tyler Elliott, age 15 (Senior Patrol Leader), Bailey Elliott, age 13 (Assistant Patrol Leader), Logan Luckhardt, age 13 (Patrol Leader), Chance Lowery, age 14 (Troop Guide), Derek Brickley age 15 (Bugler), Collin Campbell, age 11 (Patrol Leader), Jeff Elliott (Scout Master), Sherman Elliott, Tammy Elliott (Medical Specialist), Lance Luckhardt (Assistant Scout Master), Sean Lowery, Brian Brickley and Greg Campbell. Community Garden Committee member Andy Supers coordinated the project with the scouts.
