The Student of the Month for March is Maddison Kemner. She is currently a senior at Manchester High School and the daughter of John and Colleen Kemner of Manchester. During her high school career in Manchester, Maddison has been involved with Student Council, FFA, and DECA. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and serves as a mentor to the freshman class. Maddison has been in the spring musicals, performing as a member of the chorus and in character roles.

Through her church youth group, Maddison has gone on several summer mission trips, volunteered at the Lenten Fish Fries and the annual vacation bible school sponsored by her church. Maddison also volunteers through her school organizations as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army, participates annually at Project RED (Rural Education Days) and helps with Breakfast on the Farm through FFA.

Maddison has a cumulative GPA of 4.087. After high school she plans to study Agribusiness Management at Michigan State University and would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support.

The Manchester Civic Club, in collaboration with the faculty and administration of Manchester High School, selects the Student of the Month from applicants based on academic achievement, leadership/participation in extra-curricular activities, and all around service to the school and community.
