Manchester School Board asks community members to help determine schools’ focus

With the Manchester District Schools experiencing a multi-year budget deficit and dwindling fund balance, the Michigan Association of Schools Boards has been asked to lead Manchester Community Schools through the strategic planning process to determine what the funding priorities will be in coming years.
“As a first step in this process,” Superintendent Cherie Vannatter stated, “we would like all stakeholders to take a moment to complete the online survey or paper versions are located in each school building office.” Paper versions can be completed and returned to any school building office. Survey responses will be confidential and only shared with the MASB Consultant.
“We hope you are honest and open to help our district move forward,” stated Vannatter.
