2016 CROP Walk Results

On October 2, Manchester’s Annual CROP Walk had 75 walkers turn out this year to raise money for the hungry both in Manchester and around the world. Organizer, Marlene Uphaus explained that last year there were 40 participants so this year’s number was a “big improvement!” While organizers don’t have the final numbers yet, they project donations will total around $2,000 or more. Uphaus stated, “The weather was wonderful, leading to an enjoyable walk around Manchester. Thanks to the five churches participating … Emanuel UCC, Manchester United Methodist, Bethel UCC, Sharon United Methodist and Zion Lutheran.”
