Frank’s in the Morning is ready for Paczki Day, Feb 28th

Fat Tuesday is February 28th, and Jessica Bushaw of Frank’s in the Morning is preparing to make her delicious paczki.  Bushaw, single-handedly, makes fresh donuts Mon-Sat every week. Paczki Day is a special undertaking; for the last 3 years she and her assistants have started at 5pm Monday evening mixing the unique paczki dough. Then the dough is cut, fried, filled and rolled in powdered sugar, all by hand, to be ready by 5am Tuesday morning when the doors open.

For the second year in a row, Frank’s in the Morning will be offering their specialty cannoli paczki. Cannoli paczki must be pre-ordered, and cost $3 each. Traditional paczki, costing $1.50 each, will be filled with cherry, apple, white cream, Bavarian cream, and lemon.

Since she began selling paczki on Fat Tuesday Bushaw has sold out before 10am every year–even last year when she made over 1,000 paczki. To insure you and your family get your Fat Tuesday fill, she suggests pre-ordering by coming into Frank’s Place (104 E Main) during business hours, or calling 428-8003 or 428-8004. Orders will be accepted until Frank’s Places closes at 10pm on Sunday.
