Bridgewater Township considering approving event barn

The Bridgewater Township Planning Commission is considering a special land use permit application for the Historic Blum Farm on 10383 E. Austin Road to become, if approved, the first event barn in Bridgewater Township. A public hearing was held on April 9th but will be continued at the next Planning Commission meeting on Monday, May 14th at 7 pm. Bridgewater Township Supervisor Laurie Fromhart stated that the reason for the continuation of the public hearing is that the zoning ordinance requires the applicant to post a public notice sign on the subject parcel, giving notice of the proposed special land use and public hearing date, and the required signage was not posted by the applicant.
