The weather was perfect for the 12th annual Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, held last Thursday in conjunction with the Farmers Market at Chi-Bro Park. Twenty of Manchester’s businesses, service organizations, and individual entrepreneurs hosted booths from 3:30 – 7 pm. This year, there also were representatives from AMI Manufacturing and CEI Materials present seeking job applicants for open positions at their Manchester facilities.

Visitors got a good sampling of what the community can offer, and also enjoyed the Manchester Jazz Band playing in the pavilion. As band director Jared Throneberry said, “Playing for our Expo visitors is the ‘final exam’ for these students, many of whom are graduating shortly.” The younger crowds also filled the bounce house for four hours straight!

The Chamber is pleased to host this annual event, and appreciates the continuous crowds of visitors who walked among the rows, enjoyed the camaraderie, and welcomed truly warm weather.
