Obituary: Robert Pratt

Robert Pratt (1916 - 2018)

His Legacy…Age 101, passed away peacefully at his home on September 15, 2018.  Robert was born on November 26, 1916 to John and Gertrude Pratt in Whitmore Lake, MI.  He graduated from Manchester High School in 1935.  He married his beloved wife of 78 years, Marie (Wenk) on November 23, 1939 at Sharon United Methodist Church where they have been lifelong church members.  Robert retired from Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a supervisor, after 35 years of service.  He enjoyed gardening and woodworking in his leisure time.  He will be remembered as a sincere, reliable and faithful Christian.

His Family…Robert is survived by his wife Marie, his sons; Rex Pratt and Bobby (Rose) Pratt, his daughter; Susan Pratt, 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Robert was preceded in death by his son, Roy Joseph Pratt, and granddaughter, Amy Pratt.

His Farewell… Robert’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 10AM until the time of his Community Farewell at 12 Noon at Sharon United Methodist Church, 19980 W. Pleasant Lake Rd., Manchester, MI with Pastor Peter Harris as celebrant.  Burial will follow at Sharon United Methodist Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions are suggested to Sharon United Methodist Church.
