Balloons Photo Submitted by Ivy Herron - October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. More than 550 people gathered to celebrate at the 14th Annual Buddy Walk held at Gallup Park on September 30. The money raised will support enrichment classes, speech and language therapy, music therapy, resource packets to local hospitals for new families, and continued research.
