The handicap parking area of the lower parking lot at 912 City Road is being resurfaced due to poor conditions. While local road work is being done this fall, the Village Council authorized an additional $4,000 to repair the parking area to make it safer for those parking in the accessible spots. This parking lot provides easy access to the lower level meeting areas and Washtenaw County Sheriff substation, as well as the elevator, which takes you to the library and the village offices. The remainder of the parking lot will be upgraded in the 2019-2020 budget year.
