Local churches' 2018 Christmas services

Would you like to attend a local Christmas service this year?

Bethel Church, located at 10425 Bethel Church Road, will hold a Christmas Eve Service on December 24th with candlelight worship at 5 pm and holy communion at 7:30 pm. 

Emanuel United Church of Christ, located at 324 West Main Street, will hold Christmas Eve Services on December 24th at 5 and 11 pm. They will also have a live nativity in front of their church from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, December 20th and Friday, December 21st.

Community Bible Church, located at 8400 Sharon Hollow Road, will hold a Christmas Eve Service on December 24th at 6 pm. 

Zion Lutheran Church, located at 3050 South Fletcher Road, will hold Christmas Eve Services on December 24th with a family worship with Holy Communion at 3 pm, candlelight worship with Holy Communion at 7 pm, and candlelight worship with Holy Communion at 10 pm.

Manchester United Methodist Church, located at 501 Ann Arbor Street, will hold Christmas Eve Services on December 24th at 7:30 and 11 pm, both candlelight services with communion.

Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, located at 210 West Main Street, will hold Fourth Sunday of Advent Masses on Saturday, December 22nd at 5 pm, and Sunday, December 23rd at 8:30 and 10:30 am. They will hold additional times for confession on Saturday, December 22nd from 3 to 4:30 pm and Sunday, December 23rd from 7 to 8 pm. Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord (Christmas) Vigil Mass on Christmas Eve will be held Monday, December 24th at 5 pm, Midnight Mass will be held Tuesday, December 25th at Midnight, and Christmas Morning at 10:00 am.

Sharon United Methodist Church, located at 19980 Pleasant Lake Road, will hold a Traditional Christmas Eve Service at 7:30 pm on December 24th. This traditional service celebrates the joy and mystery of all this night heralds. The service will feature lighting of the Advent wreath, singing the joyous hymns, a brief Meditation, special music by the Choir, and the Service of Candle-Lighting and singing, Silent Night as they conclude the service. They will also hold a Family Christmas Eve Service at 5 pm on December 24th. This service is designed for those with small children; featuring music played on a guitar, the Christmas story, hymns and songs, as well as the building of a manger scene with 'kid friendly' figurines. The service is designed to last 45-50 minutes. At noon on Christmas Day, December 25th, everyone in the community is invited to come ring the church's bell!
