Library hosts MHS art show

The Manchester District Library hosted the annual MHS Student Art Reception on Friday, April 5th, welcoming more than 200 local students, friends, and family for an evening of art and refreshments. The artwork was judged by local professional artists, and first and second place winners were selected in eight categories. In addition, a Best in Show award was selected.

This year’s Best in Show winner was “Waiting for Pain” by Quenton Bortmas. Other winners included: Madalyn Wallace, Logan Huff, Megan Vogel, Castor Hayslip, Kayla Vogel, Madison Vogel, Mya Enzer, Libby Burch, Miranda Buck, Jessica Lacy, Sebastian Geyer, Kayla Geyer, and Alyssa Lauer. The artwork will be on display through Easter weekend. Come on in and enjoy the work of these talented young artists.
