If you were downtown the afternoon of Saturday July 13th you may have done a double-take. No, you hadn’t been transported to the 17th century Caribbean Sea, but yes the streets were full of pirates.

The corsairs, freebooters, and buccaneers were participants in the Pirate Invasion of the Saline Celtic Festival and the after-party which was held at the Two Black Sheep here in Manchester. Event promoter, Jason Heinrich explained, “Two local women organized the event, Tina and Sabrina (who works at Two Black Sheep).”

Two Black Sheep offered pirate-themed dinner & drink specials and a live performance by musical group the Pirates and Wenches.

Heinrich continued, “After the Two Black Sheep, an impromptu pub crawl happened. One of the members of the band brought his guitar and several pirates went from bar to bar singing Celtic songs and sea shanty tunes.”
