County clean-up day set in Saline this weekend

Washtenaw County is hosting a County-wide clean up day from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Thomson Reuters, 6300 Interfirst Drive, Ann Arbor (located in Pittsfield Township between Ann Arbor and Saline.)
All Washtenaw County residents are welcome to bring traditional recyclables; appliances (refrigerator, dryer, a/c unit); old electronics (TV, computers), hazardous household materials (paints, oils, and cleaning or garden chemicals); tires (not on rims); bulky household items (mattress, furniture) and much more–including construction and demolition waste–to assure responsible and safe disposal by our waste specialists. No waste will be accepted from that is business-generated or brought in by out of county residents.
Washtenaw County hosts clean-up days approximately five time each year at different locations across the county.
Please only bring waste that your party can unload on your own within 20 minutes. No full trailers greater than 8 feet long will be admitted. You may have to lift your items above head height for disposal.
Please consider a minimum donation of $15 to help support this effort. Up to four tires are accepted for free–a donation of $5 each is requested for each additional tire. One TV, computer, or appliance can be accepted for free. Those bringing additional items are requested to make a donation of $10 per item.
Due to popular demand, long wait times are expected, so arriving early is advisable. The event closes at 2 pm sharp. Washtenaw County reserves the right to cut the line early due to time and/or safety concerns.
