UPDATE 10/11/19: The parade has been canceled for 2019 because of rain.

This year will be the second year Manchester will see the return of a homecoming parade, set for Friday, October 11.

"Last year, we were able to bring the tradition of a Homecoming Parade back to Manchester," said Superintendent Nick Steinmetz. "We are looking to continue this school spirit and foster stronger relationships with the community."

The parade, which will include the Fire Department, MHS Band, fall sports teams, the Homecoming Court, and other groups, will begin at 5 pm at the Andrews Family Chiropractic parking lot on Clinton Street; proceed eastward down Main Street through downtown, weave through the Woodland subdivision, down Dutch Drive, and end at the athletic complex. If your group/organization is interested in having a float in the parade, please email Steinmetz at canceled@mcs.k12.mi.us.

The Homecoming Football game will follow at 7 pm against Hanover-Horton.
