Do you know someone who needs a coat?

David's Coat Room collected and distributed coats on the Mill porch the Saturday before Halloween during the Shoppes of Alber Mill Fall Festival.
Last December, Manchester resident Kim Blumenstein had the idea to start David’s Coat Room. The organization collects and gives out gently-used coats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and boots to children and adults who need them. Since then, they have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the community. Now they need help getting the word out to those who need something warm to wear this winter.
Anyone who needs a coat, hat, mittens, scarves, or boots for themselves or someone they know can contact David’s Coat Room through their Facebook Page or by emailing davidscoatroom@gmail.com. They do not need to be Manchester residents.
“Anybody, anywhere, anytime!” Blumenstein stated. "We want to get these coats around the shoulders of the people who need them.”
