November 8, 2019

With the 2019 Halloween Caramel Apple event in the books, the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank our wonderful volunteers, who despite the cold rain, made this event a success. Thank you to Mike and Therese Bossory of Alber Orchards, who donated all the apples; Emanuel Church for allowing us once again to us their kitchen for preparation; Girl Scout Troop #40673, who on Hallows Eve, hand washed and dried 1,000+ apples, singing and laughing the whole time; Monty and JoAnn Okey who started this tradition in their home, providing support, supplies, caramel, and time; Janet Larson for another year of spooky music; Barry Allen for the pumpkin bowling; the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office; Manchester High School’s National Honor Society and Key Club; Frank Cousino; Mark and Ruth VanBogelen; Kiwanis; Gary Seguin; David Nelson; Shelly Stace; RDK; Manchester Veterinary; Sutton Insurance; Manchester District Library; and all who support us each and every year.
