Being safe *and* warm during the cold and dark winter months is important! Walkers at Wurster Park last Wednesday, Jan. 15 received brightly-colored hats, gloves, and face masks thanks to the Walk to School program.

Colorful walkers from the high school on Thursday, Jan. 16 were staying warm, too!

Walk to School participants on Jan. 15 are pictured at Chi-Bro Park wearing their bright hats, gloves, and other apparel. Reflective vests that fit over kids’ backpacks were also distributed by Kathy O’Mara, coordinator of the Walk to School program, who considers the two-day give-away a huge success!
