WCSO distributing supplies in Manchester on Tuesday

The Community Resource Center (CRC) in partnership with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and Washtenaw My Brother’s Keeper will be distributing a limited number of cleaning supplies, paper products and personal protection items to those who need them on Tuesday, June 2nd between 10am-1pm (or until supplies run out). The products are primarily available to client households of the Community Resource Center, Manchester Family Service (MFS) and lower income households in the Manchester Community Schools district. If you need more information about eligibility, please call the CRC office at 734-428-7722. Items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The distribution will take place outside the CRC food pantry. Please arrive and stay in your vehicle (or if you are walking, bring a wagon and wear a mask if you are able) after 9:45am. Enter the line-up via the western-most driveway of Riverside Intermediate School and drive around the back of the school building toward the east side of the building and proceed to the CRC pantry pick-up area. All traffic will be one-way around the building. Look for signage the day of the event.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office staff and Washtenaw County My Brother’s Keeper volunteers will be onsite to assist with the distribution.

What: Multipurpose cleaner, bleach, paper towel, toilet paper, scrubbing sponges, bar soap, reusable face masks and vinyl gloves all provided by Washtenaw County’s coronavirus response program.

Why: To provide supplies to community members not able to get them on their own.

Who: Current clients of the CRC, MFS and other lower income households in Manchester.

When: Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 10:00am-1:00pm (or until supplies run out).

Where: Community Resource Center pantry pick-up area (east side of Riverside Intermediate School) at 710 E. Main St.
