Senior meals have been on hiatus since last spring but have resumed in September. Don't miss them on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon!

Delicious, nutritious meals are once again being served at 12 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Emanuel United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, located at 324 West Main Street in beautiful downtown Manchester. The Manchester Area Senior Citizens Council, Inc., sponsors the meals that are open to all.

Dine-in or pick-up meals are only $4 for seniors (55 years of age and up) and $4.50 for those under age 55. To make a reservation, call 734-385-6308. Meals can also be delivered to those who are home bound for $5, or if the senior would like a ride to the meal, our bus will pick him/her up. The charge for the bus is $2. Call the day before or no later than 10 a.m. the day of the meal to make a reservation for the meal and/or the bus.

This year, we have two cooks. Carol Mahony will prepare the meals on Tuesdays and Rebecca Paul will prepare them on Thursdays. Menus will be printed in our newsletter, The Trumpeter. To receive a copy of The Trumpeter via email, send a request to mascc2019@yahoo.com. Print copies may also be picked up at various locations around Manchester.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
