Thank you to online livestock auction buyers

submitted by Denise Blumenauer, Manchester Community Fair
Due to the cancellation of the Manchester Community Fair, the youth exhibitors of the Manchester Swine and the Manchester Steer Club were looking for a way to market their livestock that they worked so hard to raise and train. The clubs worked with Sheridan Auction Service to create an on-line auction that ended on August 17. The clubs would like to acknowledge the buyers for their support.
The Manchester Steer Club buyers include: Kathy Sweet (2), Ash Auto, H&H Heating and Cooling, David Hallock, Ronald Skrzypek, Pope Building, Justin Walz, Green Energy, Manchester Collision/Schnearle Farms and Bryan Diuble. The steers were sold by the head instead of by the pound and ranged from $2,600 - $3,300 each.
The Manchester Swine Club buyers include: Kyle Toteff (2), Two Hearted Trucking, Co, Napoleon Feed Mill (2), Diuble Equipment (4), Mark Weidmayer/Bridgewater Sales, Brent Barth, Manchester Appliance, Dan & Denise Blumenauer, David & Becky Bohnett, Ryan & Natalie Rentschler, Jennifer Wojtowicz (2), Tracey Upell/Heartland Dental Care, Dawn Jackson (3), David Cook (2), Nancy Lucas, Deborah Simpson, Kyle Harris, Bruce & Shirley Haeussler, Greenstone FCS (2), Luckhardt Plumbing, David Weidmayer/Wealth Solutions, Napoleon Lawn & Leisure, Manchester Collision/Schnearle Farms, and Ahrens Farm. The pigs were also sold by the head and not by the pound and ranged in price from $425 - $700 each.
Additional donations were received from Steve Roehm of RG Wahl-Roehm Heating and Cooling, Elliot Alfredson of Eagle Valley Ag Solutions, Gary Stautz of Manchester Car Wash, Amcor and Wildt Farms. Thank you for your donations!
We would also like to give a big thank you to Eric and Troy at Sheridan Auction Service for all of their assistance in organizing and implementing the auction.
