In an attempt to maintain the Holiday traditions in Manchester in this year, the Historical Society Museum and Gift Shop will be participating in the Village’s Thursdays Before Christmas Event. The Historical Society will be open on Thursday November 5, 12, 19 and December 3, 10, and 17 from 5 - 8 pm.

The Museum also will be open for self-guided tours and staff will attempt to answer any questions you may have.

Most items at the Gift Shop are locally handcrafted, including goat milk soaps, lotions and candles, woodworked ornaments, honey dippers and whistles, woven and hand sewn table runners, woven and knitted scarves, metal-pressed jewelry, items made in our local blacksmith shop, folk paintings and crafts, and Christmas cards printed on our local Chandler and Price printing press.

Also for sale, will be our Historical Society 2021 Calendars, historical books, and maps of the area. And the MAHS Christmas ornaments from years past. There will also be a free will donation table of items donated to the society.

Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available for your safety and every attempt will be made to clean after each customer. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
